A shooting incident occurred late at noon in the Gazi area of ​​the Malevizi Municipality, in Heraklion. The information states that there are three injured, including a policeman, while a 35-year-old Greek was killed.

According to the information so far, it all started while a squad of police officers were following a suspect who was in a jeep.

According to eyewitnesses, the jeep was stopped at a red light and when the driver noticed the policemen, he started shooting at them! Police reportedly returned fire, with witnesses reporting panic.

As a result of the many shots, as reported, a 35-year-old Heraklion Security officer was injured, the 36-year-old occupant of the jeep, who was arrested, and a 25-year-old man, who was in a cafe, who was allegedly shot twice in the legs .

According to the information, none of the three have been seriously injured.
