A crowd of people say goodbye to the SYRIZA MP – “Present” Alexis Tsipras, dozens of politicians and MPs
Nektarios Santorinios, who passed away at the age of 51, is currently being bid farewell by a crowd of people at the Holy Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin in the center of Rhodes.
Dozens of wreaths have flooded the entrance of the holy temple, since early in the morning, while shortly after 12 o’clock the first officials began to arrive.
A little while ago, the first members of parliament and comrades of Nektarios Santorini arrived at the Holy Church of the Annunciation, while a few minutes later the president of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, also arrived.
The Greek Parliament is represented by the president Konstantinos Tasoulas and the government the Minister of Shipping and island policy Nikos Plakiotakis who succeeded Nektarios Santorinios as minister.
The ceremony was attended by the former ministers, Nikos Papas, Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, Giorgos Katrougalos, Christos Spritzis, Panagiotis Kouroumplis, Evangelos Apostolakis, Katerina Notopoulos, Alexis Haritsis and many MPs from SYRIZA and other parties, who were welcomed by the former Dodecanese MP Mr. Dimitris Gakis and the secretary of the NE of SYRIZA in the Dodecanese, Mr. Apostolidis.
