At arrest yesterday, Wednesday, the police authorities arrested a 32-year-old man who was robbing women in the center of Thessaloniki.
A case file was filed against the arrested person by the White Tower Security Department for robbery, theft, violation of the Arms Act and violation of the Narcotics Act.

In particular, as emerged from the police investigation, yesterday evening, Wednesday in the city center, the 32-year-old removed with the use of violence from a 26-year-old woman, a mobile phone, while further investigation revealed that she had previously approached a 50-year-old woman and suddenly removed her mobile phone.

In fact, he threatened the 26-year-old folding knife, which was found and confiscated by the police, while subsequently after an investigation carried out, cannabis shavings, (1) precision scale, the sum of (85) euros, (1) sharp object (machete type) and the 50-year-old’s mobile phone, which was attributed to her.

Also, at the expense of the 32-year-old pending arrest warrant of the Special Narcotics Investigation Department of Thessaloniki, according to which his arrest and temporary detention is ordered for “Drugs” Legislation and order and temporary detention warrant of the Special Narcotics Investigation Department of Thessaloniki, according to which his temporary detention is ordered, replacing the restrictive conditions imposed on him.

The arrested person will be driven to the competent judicial authorities.
