It was in the early hours of Thursday, February 18, 2016 when the vehicle in which Pantelis Pantelidis was inside veered off its course and collided with protective bars resulting in the fatal injury of the singer.
Today marks seven years since the day the songwriter Pantelis Pantelidis died in a traffic accident that occurred on Vouliagmenis Avenue, Elliniko.
It was the early hours of Thursday, February 18, 2016, when the vehicle in which Pantelis Pantelidis was inside veered off its course and collided with the protective bars of an uneven junction on Vouliagmenis Avenue with the connecting road of the Former Eastern Airport of Hellinikon and the neighborhood of Hellinikon, resulting in his death injury to the singer, while his two girlfriends who were with him in the vehicle were taken to the hospital injured, the Mina Arnaouti and the Frosso Kyriakou.
Mina Arnaouti, who suffered more serious injuries, had to undergo surgery, while the other passenger of the vehicle, Frosso Kyriakou, was hospitalized with injuries.
The body of the unfortunate singer was recognized by the owner of a well-known night club, as well as the two girls who were riding in the same vehicle as Pantelidis.

Pantelis Pantelidis became widely known in 2010 through the YouTube platform, where he uploaded videos of himself singing and playing the guitar in order not to forget them.
Pantelis Pantelidis was awarded at the 10th MAD Music Awards in 2013 for Best Debut Artist. In 2014, at the same event, he won the mad greekz special award for the song “Oniro zo”.
At the 12th MAD Music Awards 2015 he wins the award for “Best Art or Folk Music Artist” and the mad greekz special award for the song “It’s Happening”.
Pantelidis was voted “Best Male Artist of 2016” at the MAD Video Music Awards. The singer’s brothers and friends received the award while expressing their pleasure for the support of the world during his four years of career.
In 2017, Pantelis Pantelidis’ “Thymamai” was awarded “song of the year” at the MAD Video Music Awards.
In 2018 Pantelis Pantelidis’ “Ships on the Bottom” was nominated for “song of the year” at the MAD Video Music Awards, but failed to win the award.
