Olympiacos-Panathinaikos: “eternal” derby for a place in the final!

In a repeat of last year’s final, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos face off tonight (18/2, 19:15) in Heraklion, with the aim of qualification to the final of the Final 8 of the Cup! Piraeus are undoubtedly the favourites, with the 10-0 streak giving them… more air, while on the other hand the “clover” will fight with all its might to make a surprise and get close to the cup (ERT3, bwinSPOR FM 94.6, sport-fm.gr).

On the one hand, without being particularly pressured and having a double-digit difference from the first period, the Piraeus defeated Aris 82-51 and qualified for the semi-final of the Final 8 of the Cup, while on the other hand the “greens” dominated the opposition for three quarters in Kolossos, they saw the Rhodians threatening to decrease in the fourth, but they prevailed 87-80 and are going to battle with the “eternal” rival!

“The important thing is that we are in the semi-final, now we will rest and see the next game. Anyone can play at any time, the team rallies in every absence.
