The deadline for the payment of the 2023 traffic charges expires on February 28 after a two-month extension.

The owners of the vehicles should pay particular attention to the timely payment of their obligations, as “stingy” fines have been announced by the Ministry of Finance.

The platform

On the myCar platform, vehicle owners have two options:

At the firstentitled “Vehicle Traffic Fees”, vehicle owners/owners have the possibility to be informed about:

  • information about their vehicles,
  • the toll payment codes for them,
  • the payment codes in a spreadsheet (excel), in case of multiple vehicles
  • obtain the relevant certificate for vehicles owned by them in order to use it for vehicle transfer, vehicle export abroad, vehicle re-registration
  • possible debt for 2017 road tax

In the secondentitled “Digital Immobility/Traffic”, vehicle owners/owners have the possibility to:

  • to put passenger and two-wheel Private Use vehicles in digital immobility,
  • to lift digital stillness,
  • retrieve already submitted statements

In order for vehicles to be digitally immobilized/immobilized, they must be immobilized/immobilized, respectively, and their license plates and other traffic information must be in the possession of their owners.

In addition to the MyCar platform, you can print road tax through the AADE platform. If you choose the second case, then you will not need to use the TAXISnet codes. The road tax notice includes a QR Code.

Road tax fines

Steep fines for those who do not pay road tax on time:

  • Equal to the amount of fees if the vehicle is a two-wheeler/tricycle or passenger car,
  • Equal to 50% of the fees if the vehicle is passenger D.X.
