The last “farewell” to the Mayor of Ioannina, Moses Elisaf, was said today at the Jewish Synagogue of Ioannina by relatives, friends, associates and representatives of the political and state leadership.
The President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou also attended the funeral, while the government was represented by its vice-president, Panagiotis Pikramenos. The US ambassador to Athens, George Tsounis, also attended the funeral.
The “present” was given by the former president of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos, the deputy minister of environment Giorgos Amyras, the MP of Ioannina Stavros Kalogiannis, the MPs of SYRIZA Olga Gerovasilis and Meropi Tzoufi and the MEP of ND Anna Asimakopoulou.

On the side of his wife’s beloved Patras, the Municipal Authority was united.
