In complete denial of the accusations for which – at this stage – he is asked to give explanations, he proceeds with a multi-page memorandum submitted to the prosecutor’s authorities by his advocates, Father Antonios, attempting to refute accusations related to sexual harassment of minors of the Ark of the World but also corporal punishment of minor children.

The memorandum submitted for evaluation is multi-paged, about 100 pages, with which Father Antonios denies the two complaints from minors that they received sexual harassment from a party, as well as denies the accusation of moral complicity in bodily harm to children who lived in times in the Ark.

“False complaints due to obvious expedients”

His advocates talk about false accusations, which are not based on real facts, while insisting that Father Antonios never committed the crimes for which he is – for now – being called as a suspect.

In particular, as stated in the memorandum, which is signed by the lawyers Tassos Triantafillou, Thrasyvoulos Kontaxis and Yiannis Kotsos, the criminally controlled Father Antonios, argues among other things, “due to obvious expedients, after 25 years of successful operation, two were submitted, (the number is emphasized 2), complaints against the administration of KIVOTOS, which were uncritically adopted by only certain Authorities, Bodies and Media. Two complaints defiantly and self-evidently false and self-refuting. In fact, the next one “copied” the nonsense and baseless incidents of the previous one (!!!)”.

These “false” complaints, according to Father Antonio’s position, formed the basis for drawing up vague “indictments”, without even a more specific description of the required circumstances, (manner, time, method), despite their obvious contradiction.

“The methodical action of the first and main complainant continues, since he roams the structures without a right, trying to support his lies. Fortunately, many children categorically deny him”, affirms father Antonios, denying the accusations against him.

And he adds that the non-existent, as he characterizes it, criminal case is attempted to be based on blatant untruths, rumours, rumors, false and fabricated publications, with the cooperation of well-wishers, who oversee the work of KIVOTOS.

And he concludes that “to this day many, for obvious reasons, take advantage of the issue, at the expense of the thousands of children of the structure. We hope that the Greek Judiciary will now do its duty, adequately responding to its work”.

The case of Kivotos, which is currently being checked in a preliminary stage by the Prosecutor’s Office, will proceed to criminal prosecutions, if decided, by the prosecutor’s authorities, while it is expected that if this is decided, many stages of checking the complaints that have already been made will follow.

Due to obvious expediencies, after 25 years of successful operation, two complaints were submitted (number 2 is emphasized) against the administration of KIVOTOS, which were uncritically adopted by only certain Authorities, Bodies and Media. Two complaints defiantly and self-evidently false and self-refuting. In fact, the next one “copied” the nonsense and baseless incidents of the previous one (!!!).
2. Based on the above false complaints, vague “indictments” were drawn up, without even a more specific description of the required circumstances (manner, time, method), despite their obvious contradiction.
3. The methodical action of the first and main complainant continues, since he roams without right in the structures, trying to support his lies. Fortunately, many children categorically refute him.
4. The non-existent criminal case is attempted to be based on blatant untruths, rumours, rumors, false and fabricated publications, with the cooperation of well-wishers, who oversee the work of KIVOTOS.
5. A single observation: children who refuted the 19-year-old with signatures and proofs, were severely beaten, by strangers and threatened to withdraw.
6. To this day many, for obvious reasons, take advantage of the issue, at the expense of the thousands of children of the structure. We hope that the Greek Judiciary will now do its duty, adequately responding to its task.
