With its official announcement, the EOF (National Medicines Organization) announces its decision to withdraw from the market a cosmetic product with essential oil:

As the announcement states: “The recall of all batches of the cosmetic product ‘ORGANIC SKIN TAG SOLUTIONS SERUM ROSE CLEANSING ESSENTIAL OIL‘, as the results of the laboratory tests are abnormal for the pH test (with a value found of 1.5), which can be at least irritating to the skin and eyes.

In addition, the product’s labeling does not include the indications required by current legislation, such as the list of ingredients and failure to mention the batch number. Therefore, the recall cannot be limited to a specific lot. The company ‘ESPERADO FASHION I.K.E.’ must immediately withdraw the product from the market.

The relevant documents are kept for a period of at least five (5) years and are brought to the attention of the EOF, upon completion of customer information and returns actions”.

A batch of medicine is also being recalled

The recall of batch 110922 (expiration date 09-05-2024) of the medicinal product BELZER UW SOL.ORG.PR 1L΄΄, after informing the producer about quality problems: leakage/turbidity/discoloration/presence of particles, the EOF decided.

As it states “This Decision is issued with the aim of strengthening the voluntary withdrawal of the IFET. IFET, as Marketing Authorization Holder, must immediately contact the recipients of the product and withdraw the batch in question from the market within a reasonable period of time.

The relevant documents are kept for a period of at least five (5) years and are brought to the attention of the EOF, if requested”.
