On the 15th “Career Day” in Thessaloniki is organized by the Public Employment Service (DYPA), which will take place on Saturday, March 4, at The Met Hotel (26th October 48, 546 27), from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the aim of giving the opportunity for job seekers to chat directly with representatives of companies looking for staff.

They participate in the event 110 businesses who are looking for suitable staff for more than 3,000 jobs and those interested will be able to chat with their executives, without a pre-arranged appointment.

The companies that participate are active in various branches economic activity, such as industries of food, medicine, wood, furniture, packaging products, in the primary sector, in wholesale and retail trade, in telecommunications, in the provision of services, in tourism, in the Information Society, in marketing, in customer service, etc. ..

The specialtieslooking for, are for different levels of education and expertise, such as mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, chemists, chemical engineers, clerk operators, graphic designers, production workers, food technologists, accounting clerks, salespeople (in-store and outside), IT executives, civil engineers , telephone service and technical customer support employees, electricians, refrigeration engineers, body fitters, warehouse employees, drivers, specialties from the entire spectrum of tourism, etc.

During the event, specialized labor advisers of DYPA they will hold counseling workshops for creating an effective CV and preparing for a professional interview.

Participation in the workshops is freeafter on-site registration and priority order will be respected.

Furthermore, is organized presentation, on the topic of “ideal candidate”, with the participation of human resources (HR) executives and representatives of large companies from the sectors of tourism, industry, the Information Society, wholesale and retail, customer service and logistics, the which will be followed by a discussion with the audience.

In a special area (info corner), executives of the Service Unit for Medium and Large Enterprises (MEMME) will provide advice on the CV and information on the participating enterprises, as well as on the actions and programs of DYPA.
