Trains on lines 2 and 3 of the Athens Metro will remain stationary from 6 am to midnight today (March 2), due to a strike announced by the Athens Metro Operators Union.
The work stoppage was decided in response to the fatal accident in Tempe.

Line 1 of the Piraeus – Kifisia Metro and the Tram will operate normally.

In its announcement, STASY refers to a “sudden decision by the union” and apologizes in advance to the passenger public for the inconvenience.

STA.SY informs the public that on Thursday, March 2, 2023, Lines 2 & 3 of the Metro will not operate from 6 a.m. to midnight, following the sudden decision of a union of workers late on Wednesday night to declare a strike .

Line 1 of the Piraeus – Kifisia Metro and the Tram will operate as normal.
