Taking to Instagram, Garner shared a video and captioned it, “Why does lemonade mean summer? Citrus blossoms in Los Angeles, begging to be a bright, sun-drenched lemonade.”
Garner did her own exciting twist and put in different types of citrus.

How to make lemonade
What you will need:
- 1 (or 3/4) cup sugar
- 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 4-6 lemons or a mix of citrus fruits, including oranges (note that this will yield a full cup of freshly squeezed citrus juice)
- 2-3 cups of cold water
- Soda
How to make it:
Step 1: To make the syrup, put the sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir the mixture until all the sugar has dissolved and then remove from heat.
Step 2: Squeeze the fruit.
Step 3: Pour the juice and simple syrup into a serving pitcher and stir.
Step 4: Add 2-3 cups of cold water and stir. Leave in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes to cool well.
Step 5: Put in a glass of ice.
Bonus step: Add the lemonade to 3/4 of the glass, then fill with soda.
