In his memory Jordan Adamakis the big local derby of Kavala will be held at noon on Sunday at “Anthi Karagianni” for the championship of Third national team. The administration of AOK decided to allocate the net proceeds of the match to an institution that will be indicated by the family of the unfortunate footballer, who lost his life in terrible accident of Tempe, and who wore the shirt of both clubs. It is worth noting that the purchase of tickets by fans is optional.

The announcement states:

“Our country mourns the loss of so many people who lost their lives in the Tempe train accident. I hope they are the last, I hope that time will slowly soften the wounds of so many families who are grieving and hurting because they lost their people so ingloriously.

One of those who lost is our former football player Iordanis Adamakis, and with the consent of his family, tomorrow’s match against the team of Nestos Chrysoupolis, in which he also played, will be held in his memory. The net proceeds of the match will be allocated to a foundation that will be indicated to us by his family.
