This afternoon the body of the unfortunate woman arrives in Cyprus Anastasia Adamidis who was riding in the fatal Tempe train.

Her family’s fervent request to the representatives of the mass media is not to cover either the funeral procession or her burial.

Specifically, the family’s announcement states:

“We are burying our beloved daughter and sister Anastasia Adamidis on Monday 03/06/2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro in Paphos and we invite those who honor her memory to attend. The family will not accept condolences.

The bereaved: parents, siblings and other relatives. Instead of wreaths, contributions should be made to support the family of a relative with a serious health problem.

The family would like to publicly request the media to respect her wish not to cover the funeral procession and burial. We are aware of the public interest, but we strongly request that these very sensitive personal moments not be exposed and publicized.

We sincerely thank you for your understanding and undivided support.”

On Monday 6/3/2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Avgorou, the student who lost his life in the Tempe railway tragedy is taken to his last residence, Kyprianos Papaioannou.

Request of the family, as in the exodus procession everyone attends in white clothes and instead of wreaths, contributions are given for the completion of the maintenance works of the Holy Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in memory of the Soul of Cyprian.

The body of the unfortunate Kyprianos arrives in Cyprus together with that of the unfortunate Anastasia, in the afternoon by flight from Thessaloniki.
