After a disturbance report, officers tracked him down and found a folding knife and three pieces of women’s underwear in his car.
A 59-year-old citizen was arrested in Ioannina by police officers of the Immediate Action Department, against whom a case file was filed for threat, insult, disturbance of domestic peace and violations of weapons legislation.
In particular, in the context of searches, following a complaint about a disturbing person, the police found the accused getting into a car owned by him.
During the check carried out, they found inside the car and confiscated a folding knife, total length of 24 cm, as well as three women’s underwear.
From the preliminary investigation carried out by the Ioannina Police Department, it emerged that the defendant repeatedly followed two young women in the same area of Ioannina and at an unsuspecting time when he found an opportunity he stole clothes, mainly underwear from the balcony of the young girls.
The arrested person was taken to the Public Prosecutor of Ioannina.
