An operation to evacuate the building of “Mundo Nuevo” was carried out late in the afternoon by EL.AS, after the entry of people from the anti-authoritarian area, inside the former occupation, in the center of Thessaloniki.
In particular, people from the wider anti-authoritarian space during the incidents on Filippou Street after the end of the march to Tempi “seized” the opportunity and entered the building of the former occupation “Mundo Nuevo” which had been vacated by the Police last November.
Strong Police Forces were immediately at the scene, who managed to enter the specific building and remove the group of people who were inside it.
According to information, more than 10 people from the wider anti-authoritarian space were brought from the building.
Immediately after the eviction of the occupation, policemen took down a banner that the anti-authoritarians had posted on the facade of the building, with solidarists who are in the area strongly disapproving.
