In response to your above related document, with which we were forwarded “Question 2586/03.03.2023”, submitted to the Hellenic Parliament, by the Member of Parliament for Larissa, Mr. Kyriakos Velopoulos, on the subject of “Need to clarify the cargo of the commercial train involved in the Tempe train collision of 02/28/2023”, we would like to inform you of the following:

The freight train 63503 of 28.02.2023 included in its composition (the composition sheet is attached) a total of thirteen (13) wagons, of which, in the direction of movement of the train, the first three (3) wagons derailed and were loaded with wide
rolled iron products (sheets) and then ten (10) wagons were loaded with containers.

According to the records kept by our company and according to the declaration of the customer/forwarder regarding the type of goods to be transported, as provided by the national and international regulations for the transport of goods by rail, the contents of the sealed containers in the order listed in composition sheet,
was as follows:
