A case file was filed against the 29-year-old for violating the drug law
A 29-year-old Greek man was hiding a quantity of cannabis in the PPC meter, outside his house in Koufalia, and he was arrested by police officers of the Halkidona Security Department, after coordinated actions they carried out.
As stated in today’s police announcement, a case was filed against the arrested person for violating the drug law.
From the investigation carried out at the 29-year-old’s home in the area of Koufalia, two small packages of cannabis with a total weight of 38.30 grams were found carefully hidden in the PPC meter box. In another legitimate search that followed inside his house, 13 small packages of cannabis with a total weight of 1,780.80 grams, a precision electronic scale and a mobile phone, which he used for his illegal transactions, were found and confiscated.
In the meantime, it was found that three decisions were pending against the arrested person by which he was sentenced to a prison sentence of one year and nine months for theft, acceptance and distribution of proceeds of crime and violation of the Road Traffic Code. The arrested person will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
