Criminal prosecution against the driver of the tourist bus, but also against everyone involved, on the occasion of the traffic accident that occurred at noon on December 23, 2022 in Bucharest, Larissa passengers of the bus are demanding.

Travelers from Larissa who were injured in the Christmas Eve crash in the Romanian capital testified yesterday a lawsuit at the Larisa Misdemeanor Prosecutor’s Office which was forwarded to the Volos Prosecutor’s Office in order to be related to another lawsuit allegedly filed by passengers coming from another city.

This is the first lawsuit which list passengers among 24 residents of Larissa who set off for a Christmas trip together – according to the Larissa tourist office – with another 6 who boarded from Volos and another 17 who boarded from Thessaloniki (s.s. 48 total passengers with the driver).

Christmas excursion, which had tragic endwhen the tour bus driver breached warning arch related to the height limit, with the roof of the bus hitting the height marking arch, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old man from Larisa and injuries to 24 other passengers.

The passengers ask the prosecutors to investigate any responsibilities of other persons responsible besides the driver, finally making a detailed report on the serious physical injuries, injuries and mental suffering suffered by the accident.
