A European Arrest Warrant was issued against the 39-year-old from Greece for drug trafficking
After a large police operation in Thessaloniki, a 39-year-old cocaine trafficker was located and arrested on Sunday at noon by the police.
Against the 39-year-old, from Greece, it had been issued European Arrest Warrant for drug trafficking, as 447.88 grams of cocaine were found and confiscated last February in an area of Germany and in a car repair shop that he maintains.
His detection and arrest came in collaboration with police officers of the Investigation Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate with the German Police Authorities and the National SIRENE Office of the Directorate of International Police Cooperation of the Hellenic Police Headquarters.
After the exchange of information, between the above Services, and their appropriate utilization, a special unit of the Investigations Department that was established for this specific case, at midday hours yesterday (09-04-2023) reached his tracks and arrested the 39-year-old, at the expense of for which a European Arrest Warrant had been issued for drug trafficking, as in February of this year, in an area of Germany and in a car workshop he maintains, (447.88) grams of cocaine were found and confiscated.
The arrested person will be taken to the competent judicial authorities.
