After investigations by the police officers of the Aegialia Security Department, 14 thefts at wells were discovered, while a case file was filed against three men for the specific cases.
In particular, according to the police, from the investigations of the men of the Security Department, it was found that the defendants, taking advantage of the special morphology of the surrounding area of ​​the wells, but also the proximity of the areas to a camp, committed theft of metals, mainly copper, in wells.
According to the police, a total of 10 cases of theft in boreholes owned by the municipal water and sewerage company of the Municipality of Aegialia and four cases of theft in private boreholes were discovered.
