Charged with attempted murder and other offenses under fan violence laws – sixth asked for and got 24-hour reprieve
Five of the six people arrested after the bloody clash in Seismoplyta who are accused of attempted murder and other offenses under the law on fan violence have been provisionally detained.
The five apologized to the Investigator and Prosecutor from the morning and with the agreement of the two, all five were sentenced to pre-trial detention, while the sixth requested and received a 24-hour deadline.
The advocate of two of them, Alexis Kougias, wished the 30-year-old who is hospitalized in the ICU a good day and added that the decision on the temporary detention is justified based on the material available so far.
As he reported from the Police, very good work has been done at the preliminary investigation level as it has been established which of the accused is the one who hit the 30-year-old.
The remaining four defendants are represented by Piraeus lawyer Dimitris Nakos.
He stated that the decision of temporary detention is correct and added that the hearing process will prove the true circumstances under which the events took place and it will be seen that no ambush was set up.
And he, for his part, expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery to the 30-year-old who remains in the ICU.
