An interview in the match program of Olympiakos was given by Ramon. The 22-year-old Brazilian spoke, among other things, about his first months in the “red and whites”, about his debut, while he also made a comparison of the Greek league with that of Brazil.

How are you experiencing these first months as an Olympiakos player?
“I am very happy. I thank Olympiakos for the opportunity to wear the jersey of the best club in Greece.”
Was it easy for you to adjust, having left your home country for the first time?
“It wasn’t easy at first, but as the days go by I’m adapting. Today I already feel at home.”
How did you experience your debut with the Olympiakos shirt?
“It was a dream come true. Not just mine, but my family’s too. And especially for the debut in the best team in Greece”.
What impresses you most about Olympiakos?
“The unity we have and our thirst to win every game. Our team is very focused, we work every day to achieve our goals.”
If a compatriot asked you about Olympiakos, what is the first thing you would say to them?
“For the world. Certainly for the world. They always create a beautiful celebration, either in the stands or on the streets.”
In relation to the Brazilian championship, what differences do you notice in relation to the Greek one?
“It’s an adjustment for me. I believe that I am developing regularly, because Greek football is more regular and more positioning football compared to Brazilian football. Since in Brazilian football we players are not only in one position, we improvise more, while in Greece the game tends to be more regular. I can dare to say that in Brasileirao we have a higher technical level than in the Greek league, but I admire the quality of Greek football, which requires a lot of speed, a lot of physical strength, has a lot of contact, counter-attacking and a lot of vertical play. A very well organized league, with teams that have planning. A balanced and competitive league”.
What message would you like to send to Olympiakos fans?
“As I said in the first interview when I arrived here, I will always give 100% in every game and I will always try to honor this shirt.”
