The police officer who sold drugs, using the official vehicle of the police station in which he served, was remanded, as was the 33-year-old alleged supplier of the drugs, as they did not convince the investigator and prosecutor with their explanations.

The companions of the two remanded defendants were released with the restrictive conditions of appearing twice a month at the AT of their area, while the constable’s uncle and the 34-year-old special guard were released without conditions.

According to information, the 33-year-old alleged supplier said: “I owed money to a third party. Because I am a drug addict, I agreed to store drugs in my house and deal drugs to pay off my debt to this man.”

Earlier today, a Sworn Administrative Examination was ordered by the Hellenic Police Headquarters, against him as well as a special guard, who were arrested on Palm Sunday, in the context of the autoforos together with five other people, accused of drugs and dereliction of duty.
