Disciplinary referrals for those employees of DYPA who refuse the application of the law on the liquidation of the registers announced the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Kostis Hatzidakis speaking on SKAI 100.3.

At the same time, he described as “unprecedented the movement that exceeds all imagination”, the strike announced by the trade union organization at the Public Employment Service in response to the application of the law on income criteria in the provision of benefits and privileges to the registered unemployed.

“This is not a strike with a political color, in view of some bill promoted by the government. Here we have a refusal to implement a passed law, by a democratically elected government”, said the minister.
Mr. Hatzidakis emphasized that “this was the reason why Public employment Service appealed to the Court which declared the strike illegal».
The minister made it clear that “if, despite the decision of the Court, there are employees who refuse to implement the law on clearing the registers of the imaginary unemployed, there will be disciplinary referrals”.
