End of classes, start of Pan-Hellenic exams, closing of schools: After Easter, the “countdown” begins, as there is about a month left until the first… last bells of the school year are heard.

For the current school year, the milestone dates have already been announced since last September, as part of an effort by the Ministry of Education to better organize the school and academic year. This new practice that was launched was even followed by a relevant legislative regulation, which provides for the notification of the national examination program by September 15 of each year.

This planning of the Ministry of Education, which has been announced, will not be particularly affected by the holding of the national elections, apart from the transfer of the exams of the high school classes to one day later. Thus, June 15 is the date on which, on the one hand, kindergartens and elementary schools will complete their lessons, and on the other hand, high schools and high schools will complete their exams. The start of the Hellenic Examinations is set for June 1st for EPAL and June 2nd for GELs.
