His intervention of the Unified Food Control Agency (EFET) was caused by the increased number of people who were found on Easter Sunday in the Emergency Department of the Larissa General Hospital with symptoms suggestive of Food Poisoningaccording to experts.

The same sources state that EFET has already started the investigation of all cases trying to form a complete picture of what exactly happened to all these persons who are allegedly from the same groups and families, which means that they probably consumed the same food.

As has been known so far, both by the director of TEP-GNL, Mr. Dimitris Babalis, and by the commander of LNG himself, Mr. Grigoris Vlahakis, the number of people who were at TEP on Easter Sunday reaches fifty and they all presented almost the same clinical picture which refers in the first instance to Food Poisoning.

The same information, however, states that no reaction has been recorded from the National Public Health Organization – it has not been clarified whether it was officially informed despite the fact that the number of cases in question is judged to be increased based on simple logic, taking the population of Larissa as a given .

From the first moment, he was in an “uncomfortable” position the butcher industry, as the most basic element of the Easter table is meat. From the beginning, the president of the Butchers’ Guild of Larisa, Mr. Vangelis Rizos, was also appointed, himself requesting that all the necessary investigations be carried out in order to reveal the truth, whatever it may be. However, well-informed sources say that he may have played a big role in the incidents in question the way of transport and storage of the food until it is consumed.

It is worth noting that it is possible that a relevant report will be drawn up within the next few days on what happened in Larissa and that there may be related announcements for the information of the citizens.
