The running of a road race – 14th International Posidonios Half Marathon – led to traffic modifications in the areas of Paleo Faliros and Alimos.
The event is under the auspices of the Municipalities of Palaio Faliro and Alimos, the Region of Attica, the Hellenic Tourism Organization (H.O.T.), the Hellenic Diabetes Association, the Hellenic Police, the European Federation “Sports for All” and the Hellenic Federation of Popular Mass Sports-Ultra-Distance Associations.
Regarding the traffic regulations, until 1pm there will be a temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicle traffic on Posidonos Street, (in the section between Syggrou Street (Psalidi location) and Amphithea Street, traffic flow towards Glyfada) and on the old Poseidonos Street, (in the section between Ioannou Fix Street and Poseidonos Street, traffic flow towards Glyfada).
At the same time, there is a temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicle traffic and a ban on stopping and parking, in the Flisvos Marina (from the Averof T/K and the P. Faliros Municipal Swimming Pool to in front of the TAE KWON DO in both traffic streams).
Alternative routes will be put in place to serve drivers.
