At lower than average levels it fluctuated this Aprilthe average value of maximum daily temperatures from the average of the period 2010-2019.

The data are according to the network of 51 meteorological stations of the National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr that have been operating since 2010 until today.

For some areas it was the coldest month for April in the last 14 years. In Thessaly the temperature deviations turned into a negative sign after nine months (since August 2022), while also in Macedonia the average monthly value of the maximum temperature was negative for the first time since September 2022.

For the region of Western Greece and the Ionian, it was the coldest April since 2010.

For Sterea and Northern Greece, and the Peloponnese it was the second coldest month after 2011.

In Gavalou, Etoloakarnania all 30 days of the month were colder than the 2010-2019 average.

In Arta and Pyrgos Ilias there were 29 days of negative temperature deviations.

In Athens the monthly mean maximum temperature deviation was -1.6°C, with 24 of the 30 days of the month being colder than normal for the season.

In Thessaloniki the average maximum temperature fluctuated 2.1°C lower than the average of the period 2010-2019 and 26 days of negative deviations were recorded.

The largest negative temperature deviations across the country were recorded between April 8-11, while the highest temperatures were recorded in the first three days of the month.
