A 34-year-old woman experienced absolute terror at the hands of a 60-year-old man when, after their night out together, the man decided to take her by force to his house with the intention of sexually abusing her.

He informed the Immediate Action center and in a few minutes police forces arrived on the spot. The police found the 60-year-old inside the home and handcuffed him.
The incident happened last Friday night, 28-4, in the area of Drapetsona.

He was arrested in the context of the car traffic, in the morning hours of 4-28-2023 by a crew of an Immediate Action patrol car in cooperation with police officers of the Chaidari Security Department of the Attica Security Directorate, 60-year-old citizen and a case file was filed against him for attempted rape, kidnapping and illegal violence.
In particular, in the early morning hours of 4-28-2023, the above, after making contact with a female resident in a health care store in the area of Drapetsona, offered to take her to her home in his car when they left.
After the sufferer got into the car, the accused followed a route towards his home, at the same time locking the vehicle’s fuses, as a result of which the woman could not escape.
Upon their arrival at his home, inside a car park in the area of Haidari, the 60-year-old forced the woman to enter within and lock it the door, depriving her of her freedom.
While the victim was trying to escape, the accused prevented her by physically assaulting her, while he attempted to rape her.
Afterwards, the woman managed to free herself with assistance passing truck driver the Immediate Action Call Center was informed.
An Immediate Action patrol car and police officers from the Security Department of Haidari immediately went to the scene and after using the information provided by the victim, they searched for and located the accused, who was arrested.
The arrested person was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
