The Peugeot 2008 presented at the end of 2019 has already produced 700,000 units, and has always been among the top 3 best-selling models in the B-SUV segment in Europe, even taking the top spot in 2021.

The success of this particular model is mainly due to the e-2008, which has been a pioneer in the electrification of the segment since 2019, with its production having recorded over 75,000 units.

The market share of this particular version reached 17.4% of sales in 2022, placing it among the top 3 electric B-SUV segments.

The new Peugeot 2008 is manufactured at the Vigo plant in Spain. The popular model will start its commercial course in the Greek market in the last quarter of the year and its range will include three versions – ACTIVE, ALLURE, GT – with four powertrains, including the new purely electric version of 156 hp, which will offer a range of up to 406 km. (WLTP combined cycle). The range will be expanded in 2024 with the addition of a new hybrid engine.

Range of engines

In addition to the electrified engines, the 2008 range also includes options for petrol and diesel engines that give the opportunity to choose the one that meets your needs:

• PureTech 100: the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine with a power of 100 hp, has a Stop & Start system, and is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.
• PureTech 130: the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine with a power of 130 hp, has a Stop & Start system, and is combined with either a 6-speed manual transmission, or an EAT-8 automatic transmission.
• BlueHDi 130 EAT8: the 4-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 130 hp and a Stop & Start system and is combined with an automatic transmission EAT-8.
