The apologies of the 12 defendants for the murder of Alkis Kampanos in Harilaou, in the early hours of February 1, 2022, continue today, Thursday, April 27, at the Mixed Court of Thessaloniki.

The defendants in their apologies, which are expected to last several weeks, will give their own version of the incident, while it is interesting to see if they will differ from their initial positions.

Last Tuesday, the first of the defendants, who was also the driver of the first vehicle that arrived at the scene of the murderous attack, pleaded guilty.

The 24-year-old claimed that he was not at all involved in the bloody incident, as he had initially gotten out of his car, but had forgotten to pull the handbrake, realized it immediately and turned back. He also claimed that they went to hunt followers of Mars and not to kill.

Today the 24-year-old will answer questions from the court and the lawyers. The apology of the second accused, for whom the 24-year-old claimed that he saw him holding a knife but does not know if he hit anyone, is also awaited with interest.
