A 46-year-old and a 27-year-old foreigner were arrested in Athens, on Wednesday (10/5) in the morning, by police officers of the Amarousi Security Department, for aggravated theft by two or more perpetrators who joined together to commit theft and for the specific offenses of violating arms and drug laws.
In the context of the investigation of two thefts from a house in Marousi, which occurred during the last 2 months, the involvement of the 46-year-old foreigner, who worked as a domestic helper in the particular house, was identified.
During the above thefts, valuables, jewelry, items of clothing and a safe containing money and bank checks were taken.
Yesterday, the Police located the 46-year-old woman in her home, in which the 27-year-old man was also, and after a search, among other things, they found and confiscated: 2 improvised packages containing a narcotic substance (probably Indian hemp) with a total weight of 3.6 grams, an air gun pistol, 4 knives, 2 bicycles, numerous watches, numerous sunglasses, jewelry, lighters, clothing and bags. Some of the items taken from the house in Marousi were also found and returned to the rightful owner.
In addition, 1 case of theft of a bicycle and a sum of money from a warehouse in Galatsi was solved.
Those arrested with the case filed against them were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens, while the investigation to locate the owners and the rest of the stolen property continues.
