Incidents of wild boar accidents have turned into a scourge for Evia, it seems.

In particular, a motorcyclist, this time, on the main Edipsos-Limni road, at the height of Rovia, was carried away by wild boars.

The wild large animals tried to cross the road and thus fell on the motorcycle that was moving on the pavement.

The driver was injured and taken to the hospital.

As wild boars do not find sufficient food in the burnt uplands, they are forced to descend lower and look for it even in inhabited areas.

The indignation of the citizens of Evia has been caused by the uncontrollable situation that has been created with the wild boars on the island, which in many areas move wherever and whenever they want, causing damage to yards and fields.

In fact, there are many who have expressed their fear of driving around even with their car, as there is a risk of a serious accident if an animal is suddenly thrown onto the road.

This time, the big problem is located in Drosia of Chalkida where wild boars are roaming uncontrollably in yards.

According to a complaint received by evima.gr,

“The wild boars now take their walks every day in the area of ​​Drosia and in Aristoteli Valaoritis, 200 meters from the sea between the houses. We dare not leave the front door open even during the day. Something really needs to be done because the problem is now very serious.”
