The Board of Directors of the Union sadly announces the loss of its colleague Christos Messinis, who “passed away” today at the age of 73.
Christos Messinis was born in Karya, Lefkada, in 1950, where he finished the six-form High School. In July 1970 he started working as an in-house editor at the newspaper “Acropolis”, while from 1971 he began his collaboration with the financial newspaper “Express”. He then worked for the newspapers “Avgi”, “Nea Ellada”, “Rizospastis”, “Athinaiki”, “Vradini”, the magazines “Athinorama” and “Political Issues”, while 1979 will be the beginning of his collaboration with ” Step”. He will also work in “Eleftherotypia”, “Egnatia” and finally in “Nea”.

The Board of Directors deeply sympathizes with his relatives and bids farewell to his distinguished colleague.
The funeral of Christos Messini will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10.00 am. in the Holy Church of Agios Ioannis in Neos Voutzas.
