Detainees were judged, after their confession to the investigator, the two brothers accused for the death of the 52-year-old funeral home ownerafter an episode between them, last Saturday morning, at Neapoli Thessaloniki.

The two accused 40 and 42 years oldoriginally from ,from Armenia, are being prosecuted for manslaughteran act which they denied in their apologies, also citing the findings of the forensic investigation, according to which the death was allegedly attributed to pathological causes, and in particular to an ischemic episode suffered by the victim during his transport to the hospital.

The episode started because the 52-year-old was feeding strays, outside his business, which seems to have disturbed the two brothers, while from the testimonies of residents it appears that there had been other fights as the defendants reacted to the operation of the business in the area.

Initially, the two sides argued and one conversation led to another, resulting in physical violence against the 52-year-old. In their apologies, the 40-year-old admitted that he lightly hit the victim because she swore at him. “There was a fight over the leftovers on the road” he himself admitted, denying that death was caused by his blows. “When we left he was upright and conscious” he reportedly pointed out.

On the other hand, his brother reported, according to information, that he tried to intervene with the fire department when the episode started. “We had no precedents with him,” added the 42-year-old, when asked about possible clashes with the 52-year-old in the past.

However, their claims did not convince the investigator and prosecutor who “showed” them the way to prison.
