Tensed atmosphere in ASOEE – Attack on ERT TV crew

The students have gathered in the courtyard of ASOEE, while their meeting is expected to take place at 1 at noon.

There were incidents and in fact strangers attacked an ERT TV crew. At the site, police forces were gathered, while people came out of the gate of the foundation and moved towards the PCCC forces that were in the point, resulting in flying grenade grenades.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor filed criminal charges for three misdemeanor offenses against the six arrested during yesterday’s police operation in ASOEE.

The prosecution concerns the offenses of damage to foreign property intended for the common good, public service disorder and disobedience, as, according to the transfer sent to the prosecutor, the detainees refused to be fingerprinted.

The six defendants were referred to the Autophorous Three-Member Misdemeanor Court.

Beating a teacher in an amphitheater

A hooded attack took place at ASOEE on Tuesday afternoon when a teacher was beaten and slightly injured.

The attack took place in an amphitheater of the Athens University of Economics and Business, in the course Financial Management of the Department of Marketing and Communication, while the professor was talking to the students.

According to testimonies, students were also beaten when they tried to protect their teacher. The teacher, who received physical and verbal violence, went alone to the “Evangelismos” hospital to receive first aid.

The professor then went to GADA to testify. According to police sources, he attributes the attack he received to a personal dispute he has with 3 other teachers.
