According to exclusive information of eviathema.gr, shortly after 22:00 at night, the stray animal was roaming in the central square, when it went and attacked a child who was playing with his peers, a man, who was in the same place, immediately ran to remove the dog to protect the child.
High school students, believing that the man had hit the animal, called the police while there was tension between them at the scene.
Police officers from the AT Dirfyon Messapia rushed to the scene and arrested the man, who they took to the Police Department, accompanied by the minors who filed a lawsuit against him, testifying that he hit him.
The man was detained as part of the autoforos, while he was released a short time later after a verbal order from the prosecutor.
