Temporary traffic regulations due to construction works on Line 4 of the Athens Metro – “ALEXANDRAS” Station
Due to the execution of works, during the time period from 23-5-2023 to 8-8-2023 and throughout the 24 hours, the following traffic arrangements will be made in the following road sections, area of the Municipality of Athens, as follows:
PHASE 1
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Street to a minimum width of approximately 6.25 m from its junction with K. Paparigopoulou Street to its junction with Moustoksydi Street by occupying the right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles, in the traffic flow towards Patision.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Street to a minimum width of approximately 6.50 m from the height of Psellou Street to its junction with Diogenidis Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles, in the traffic flow towards L. Kifisias.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of K. Paparigopoulou Street to a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m. from its junction with Alexandras Street and for a length of approximately 30.0 m. by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles .
Gradual reduction of the minimum width of the roadway at approximately 4.50 m. of Moustoksydis Street from its junction with Alexandras Street to the height of Therianou Street with occupation of the right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the width of the minimum width roadway at approximately 3.00 m. of the side street of Alexandra Street from its junction with K. Schina Street to the height of the construction site occupation, with occupation of the left side of the roadway in the direction of traffic vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the width of the minimum width roadway at approximately 3.50 m. of K. Schina Street from its junction with Parashou Street and for a length of approximately 15.00 m., with occupation of the left side of the roadway in the direction of traffic vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the minimum width of the roadway at approximately 4.00 m on Paraschou Street from its junction with Asopiou Street to its junction with K. Schina Street, with occupation of the right side of the roadway in the direction of traffic .
Gradual reduction of the width of the minimum width roadway to approximately 4.00 m of Komninon Street approximately 20.00 m after its junction with E. Chrysoloras Street until its junction with L. Alexandras, occupying the right side of road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the width of the minimum width roadway at approximately 4.00 m. of Thesproteos Street from its junction with Alexandras Street to its junction with Ioustinianou Street, with occupation of the right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the width of the minimum width roadway at approximately 3.50 m. of Ioustinianou Street from its junction with Thesproteos Street to its junction with Psellou Street, with occupation of the right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Total blockade with the exception of construction site vehicles on K. Schina Street from Alexandra Street to the side street of Alexandra Street, the side street of Alexandra Street from Mustoksydis Street to Asopiou Street, Plapouta Street from Alexandra Street to Psellou Street, Diogenidis Street from Komninon Street to Alexandras Street.
Characterization as a dead end of Asopiou Street from Paraschou Street to the construction site occupation, K. Schina Street from Paraschou Street to the construction site occupation, the bypass of Alexandra Street from K. Schina Street to the construction site occupation.
Compulsory course with vehicles turning left from Asopiou Street to Paraschou Street.
Mandatory straight line for vehicles on Paraschos street at the Paraschos-Asopi junction.
One-way of Psellou Street from Ioustinianou Street to and to Alexandras Street.
Prohibition of right turns from Plaputa Street to Psellou Street and from Alexandras Street to Psellou Street.
Prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles on the right side of the roadway of Alexandra Street along the entire length of the construction site occupation in both traffic streams and on both sides of the roadway in K. Paparigopoulou Street, Psellou Street, Ioustinianou Street, Thesproteos Street, Komnenon Street in area of the works and on the right side of the road surface on Asopiou Street from Paraschos to the construction site occupation.
PHASE 2
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Street to a minimum width of approximately 6.00 m from its junction with I. Soutsou Street to its junction with K. Paparigopoulou Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles, in the traffic flow towards Patision.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Road to a minimum width of approximately 8.50 m from the height of Psellou Street to its junction with Thesproteos Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles, in the traffic flow towards L. Kifisias.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Road to a minimum width of approximately 5.25 m from the height of Vatazi Street to its junction with Th. Laskareos Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles, in the current traffic towards Kifisias Street.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of K. Paparigopoulou Street to a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m. from its junction with Paraschou Street to its junction with Alexandras Street by occupying the left side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Thesproteos Street to a minimum width of approximately 4.00 m and for a length of approximately 10.00 m at its junction with L. Alexandras Street by occupying the left side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles.
Gradual restriction of the width of the road surface of Th. Laskareos street to a minimum width of approximately 5.25 m and for a length of approximately 20.00 m at its junction with L. Alexandras street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles .
Compulsory course with vehicles turning left from Asopiou Street to Paraschou Street.

Prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles on the right side of the roadway of Alexandra Street along the entire length of the construction site occupation in both traffic streams and on both sides of the roadway on K. Laskareos in the area of the works and in Asopiou from Parashkou to the construction site occupation.
Total blockade with the exception of construction site vehicles of the side street of Alexandra Street from Mustoksydi Street to Asopiou Street.
Characterization as a dead end of the side street of Alexandra Street from K. Schina Street to the construction site occupation.
PHASE 3
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra Street to a minimum width of approximately 6.00 m from its junction with I. Soutsou Street to its junction with K. Paparigopoulou Street, occupying the left side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles, in the traffic flow towards Patision.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra St. to a minimum width of approximately 8.75 m from its junction with K. Schina St. to its junction with A. Vraila St. by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles, in the traffic flow towards Patision.
Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Alexandra St. to a minimum width of approximately 4.75 m from its junction with E. Chrysoloras Street to its junction with Kavasila / Th. Laskareos Street, occupying the left side of the roadway in the direction movement of vehicles, in the traffic stream towards Kifisias Street.
Prohibition of the left turn from L. Alexandras to Kavasila at the junction L. Alexandras – Kavasila/ Th. Laskareos-K. Paparigopoulou
Total blockade with the exception of construction site vehicles of the side street of Alexandra Street from Mustoksydi Street to Asopiou Street.
Characterization as a dead end of the side street of Alexandra Street from K. Schina Street to the construction site occupation.
Prohibition of the stopping and parking of vehicles on the right side of the road surface of L. Alexandra along the entire length of the construction site occupation in both traffic streams, and on the right side of the road surface in Asopiou from Paraschos to the construction site occupation.
– During the prohibition of the left turn from L. Alexandras to Kavasila at the junction L. Alexandras – Kavasila/Th. Laskareos – K. Paparigopoulou, in order to facilitate the passing traffic, heading from Alexandras Street to the left towards Kavasila Street, during the 24-hour works, vehicles will be able to follow the following route:
L. Alexandras – right K. Schina – right Parashou – right K. Paparigopoulou – L. Alexandras – straight Kavasila.
Drivers of vehicles are requested to be particularly careful when passing through the work sites and to follow the existing road markings.
