The perpetrator of the theft of passports from a courier company vehicle, which took place on May 15 in Kallithea, was arrested.

He is a 54-year-old man from Morocco, while two more foreigners who were found with stolen passports have been identified and are being sought.

As it emerged from the police investigation, the 54-year-old – after the robbery – gave them to the two foreigners in a store in the area of ​​Agios Panteleimonas.

A police search of the house revealed the clothes, shoes, watch and sunglasses he was wearing during the robbery as well as an air pistol, a small amount of cannabis and a number of SIM cards.

Both the 54-year-old and his two co-accused have been accused repeatedly – as the case may be – of theft, criminal organization, forgery and falsification of certificates, acceptance and distribution of proceeds of crime, facilitation of illegal exit from Greek territory, possession of third party travel documents persons.
