June 3 marks World Bicycle Day, a day designated by the United Nations General Assembly in 2018 to recognize the vital role that bicycles play in our lives and daily lives as a means of sustainable transportation, health and social development.

PPC, on the occasion of World Bicycle Day on June 3, urges us to go for a bicycle, to go for a better life! For PPC, cycling is not just a means of exercise and entertainment, but a means that can lead us to a more sustainable future. In recent years, this is a vision that he supports in practice, actively and substantially, through trainings, sponsorships and actions for cycling throughout Greece:

• Sponsorship of the e-bike Festival in various cities of Greece which promotes cycling among younger audiences and informs about the types of bicycles
• Sponsorship of the International Cycling Tour of Greece – revival by PPC in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism & Sports
• Sponsorship of the Cycling Tour of Athens
• Sponsorship of the National cycling team
• Creation of a cycling group of PPC employees

And it continues strongly, with the aim of the bicycle becoming another step on its path towards green energy. On June 3, World Bicycle Day, PPC suggests we welcome the bicycle into our lives. In particular, he introduces us to the Dutch grip. The Dutch grip is a movement that we should all do, every time we get out of the car, to be sure that no cyclist or pedestrian is passing. It only takes five simple steps.

Today, PPC, with all its actions and initiatives, puts all its energy into making the bicycle a part of our daily life and a driving force for a positive change in our world.

Let’s make it a reality!
Let’s go for a bike ride!
