A 66-year-old woman from Albania was arrested, as part of the spontaneous procedure, yesterday afternoon in Athens, by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security, on the charges of drug trafficking and forgery.
According to ELAS, after investigating information about the action of the accused regarding the trafficking of cannabis in the area of ​​Kato Patisia and especially outside schools, her criminal activity was identified and certified.
Specifically, after an investigation carried out, with the assistance of a police dog, it was found that the 66-year-old woman had 57 nylon packages of raw cannabis, with a total weight of 1,088 grams, in her home, with the intention of selling.
At the same time, four precision electronic scales, 227 nylon packages, suitable for the standardization of narcotic substances for sale, the sum of 3,830 euros and a counterfeit 50 euro banknote were located and confiscated.
The arrested woman was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Athens.
