Eight boys were convicted by the Three-Juvenile Juvenile Court on the case of the horrific gang-rape of a 15-year-old boy in Ilionat the end of 2022. The court acquitted the four girls who were tried with their peers in the case of their classmate.
After closed-door sessions, the Three-member Juvenile Court announced, last night, its verdict for the 12 minors who were involved in the case of sexually abusing the 15-year-old at least twice in an abandoned house in Ilion.
The court acquitted the four minor girls who tried the case and found the 8 boys guilty of offenses involving rape, complicity in rape and pornography.
Three of the convicted students were given three-year suspended sentences and the remaining five were given reformative measures.
The juvenile convicts have denied the brutality of their actions from the beginning and claim that what their classmate experienced, which they recorded in videos they circulated within the school community, was simply “sexual experimentation”.
