Finally, around 5:30 on Thursday afternoon, he entered the thriller with the man who threatened to blow himself up in Kissamos, Chania.

According to information, it is in the hands of the EKAM forces and the alarm is over.

As Cretalive wrote, special forces, a negotiator and a psychologist from EL.AS were found at the scene.

A 56-year-old man from Chania had barricaded himself in his house in Kissamos for hours and threatened to blow everything up with dynamite.

The incident was triggered when police officers went to his house to arrest him as part of the spontaneous procedure, after a prosecutor’s order – there was no warrant as reported – as this man was allegedly systematically threatening and swearing, accusing the Police of corruption.

When the 56-year-old saw the policemen, he reacted strongly and appeared in front of them holding a knife and dynamite.

He then locked himself in the house threatening to detonate the explosives.

It should be noted that, based on his criminal record, the 56-year-old has again engaged the authorities for petty crimes.
