Police investigations into the search for 27-year-old Anastasia-Patricia from Poland, whose traces were lost on the evening of June 12 in Kos, on the island where she was working, continue to be in full progress.

The authorities are combing the island in order to find any evidence that leads to the 27-year-old, however, so far the searches have been fruitless. Despite the fact that EL.AS proceeded at noon to arrest the 32-year-old Bangladeshi for kidnapping and intercourse with a person who could not react as the 27-year-old was intoxicated, they still have not given an answer to the question of the whereabouts of the missing from Poland with the suspect denying harming her.

Her mother, speaking to the local Polish media tuwroclaw.com, said she was convinced that her daughter had been a victim of abduction. “Anastasia has been kidnapped. I can’t go into details, but I believe that my daughter was kidnapped,” he said.

The contradictions of the Bangladeshi

According to police sources, in his statement, the 32-year-old admitted that he had sexual intercourse with the girl, while claiming that he left her at a nearby point from his house. However, he denied that he hurt her.

Furthermore, when asked if he had killed the 32-year-old, his answer was negative. The 32-year-old was considered a suspect since yesterday when he was brought in with four other foreigners, as after a police investigation, a ticket that he had issued for abroad was found.

It should be noted that on the body of one of the five foreigners who have been brought, there are signs indicating that a struggle has preceded.

Searches are fruitless

Drones and specially trained dogs have been “combing” the area since yesterday in order to find any evidence that will lead to the identification of the 27-year-old. The investigations started from the point where the girl seems to have left her last mark when she called her partner to tell him that she was going home with her friends. Since then, she has been lost.

From now on, the authorities’ investigations will focus on wells that exist in the wider area, some of which are quite deep.

What her 28-year-old partner testified

The 28-year-old was the one who last contacted her and also the one who declared her disappearance to the authorities. In his last statement, the 28-year-old claimed that on June 12, during the night hours and while he was working, he received a phone call from Anastasia-Patricia in which she told him that she was drunk and that she would return to the hotel with a friend of hers. A short time later, he received a message on his mobile phone from his missing partner with her location. When the 28-year-old arrived at the scene, he did not find her and started calling her. But the girl’s cell phone was switched off. He then searched for the mobile’s location through an app and managed to locate it about 6km away from where the 27-year-old had sent it, on Kiapoka Street in Tigaki. But he didn’t find her there either and a few hours later he contacted the authorities of the island.
