From the first moment, the medical examiner Pavlos Pavlidis had spoken with the initial findings of suicide
The investigation file is closed, approximately four months after 28-year-old Vikis Kadoglou from Tychero Soufliou was found dead in a ravine in the village of Lefkimmi, with the results of laboratory tests confirming the initial findings that suggested suicide.
According to information from Evros-news.gr, from the central laboratories of the Hellenic Police in Athens, the results of the DNA tests and then those of the toxicological tests were initially sent several days ago. Of these, no foreign DNA was found on the clothes or on the body of 28-year-old Vicky. Toxicology tests were also negative. So the initial assessment remains, that it was a case of suicide and the girl decided and put an end to her life, with the knife she often carried on herself, during her family’s agricultural work, where she participated very actively.
The girl was known to have been found with a knife stuck in her chest on February 20, by her relatives who, together with the police, had been looking for her since the previous day. She had disappeared at noon from Tychero, leaving on her motorbike and had chosen a certain place outside Lefkimmi that she used to go to.
From the first moment, the medical examiner Pavlos Pavlidis had spoken with the initial findings about suicide and how the 28-year-old found the courage and stuck the knife herself in her chest, putting an end to her life. She also reported the same after the autopsy performed at the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis to the Police, who started investigations and began taking statements from her family, friends and acquaintances, trying to shed light on the case.
Although the police, from the statements they collected and any evidence they found, agreed with the medical examiner’s opinion that it was a suicide, they did not stop all this time to continue the investigations, in case they found any evidence that would change this opinion, but without result. Thus the results of the laboratory tests were awaited.
