A rape victim with a perpetrator, a non-commissioned officer of the Army, complains that a 19-year-old mentally challenged man fell in Orestiada, claiming that this was not the first time that the 46-year-old sexually abused him.

In particular, the 19-year-old from Orestiada complained that he was a victim of rape on Sunday, June 11, and that on that day the man put him in his car, against his will, and drove him to a rural area of ​​the village of Neos Pyrgos.

There he took advantage of his mental retardation and raped him, according to the complainant. A similar act had taken place three years ago, as the complainant stated to the authorities.

In this context, police officers of Orestiada brought in on Friday night, June 16, a 46-year-old policeman whom the complainant identified as the rapist.

The 46-year-old soldier admitted to performing sexual acts but claimed that it was all done with the consent of the mentally retarded 19-year-old.

The 46-year-old sergeant was released, as the self-immolation deadline had passed, while a case against sexual freedom was filed against him, which will be forwarded to the prosecution at the military court in Xanthi.

At the same time, an EDE has been ordered by the Army General Staff and the 19-year-old was examined by a medical examiner.

The Orestiada Security sub-directorate is conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
