The thriller continues with the murder of 27-year-old Anastasia in Kos, as the forensic examination that was carried out yesterday on her body did not determine whether the suffocating death was caused by strangulation or some other means.

According to police sources, the body of the unfortunate girl, who was found in a wetland in the Alykes area five days after her disappearance, was in an advanced stage of decay, making the work of the experienced medical examiner difficult.

According to the same sources, the forensic examination did not reveal any injuries from blows on her body and the exact time of death was not determined.

The exact causes of the 27-year-old’s death are now expected to be shed on the results of the dna collected at the forensic service of Rhodes from the fingernails and other body parts of the unfortunate girl and have already been sent for analysis.

“We hope the dna will show us the perpetrator” says a senior officer of ELAS who deals with the case speaking to Skai.gr while regarding the main suspect the 32-year-old from Bangladesh as he characteristically says: “he keeps silent as a fish and when asked if he killed the girl he denies.”

The 32-year-old yesterday passed the threshold of the investigator and was given a deadline to apologize on Wednesday, while the charge against him is still that of robbery.

According to police sources, he was asked about the messages he exchanged on the night of June 12 with his unfortunate partner, as in the forensics of ELAS, where Anastasia’s mobile phone has been transferred, the police managed to bring to “light” some of the messages sent by the girl that the evening.

The 28-year-old was also asked if he knows the 32-year-old main suspect, if the 27-year-old knew him, and if the unfortunate girl was supplied with narcotics (hashish) by the Bangladeshi.

The 28-year-old allegedly gave sufficient answers to the security officers, while he also allegedly has a strong alibi, as on the night of June 12, while exchanging messages with his partner, his cell phone “rang” at the hotel where he worked.
