New details are coming to light about the intrafamilial episode that unfolded on the beach of Heraklion with the attack received by a 60-year-old woman with mobility problems from her 45-year-old partner while she was driving, in a random police check of the Immediate Action, which finally, stood… as a lifesaver.

The 60-year-old, in her testimony, allegedly claimed that for 7 whole years she lived next to him with abuse and ill-treatment, while she complained that he tried to strangle her 6 times and it could to kill her according to cretalive.gr.

The 45-year-old was even prosecuted for attempted murder by intent, while he was referred to the Heraklion investigator to apologize next Friday.

He was prosecuted, in detail, for:

– Attempted manslaughter

-Dangerous bodily harm to a weak person per se

– Serious intentional bodily harm to a weak person

-Domestic insult of sexual dignity

-Continued threats and insults and

– A method of causing intense physical and mental pain on a continuous basis

The case has been taken over by the Domestic Violence Office.
