In the ICU of the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki it was transferred 4 year old girlwhich he had been bitten by a viper on Tuesday afternoon in a village of the Municipality of Riga Ferai in Volos.
The little girl was with her grandmother in the village cemetery when suddenly a snake “jumped” out of the grass, which turned out to be a viper, and bit the little girl’s hand.
The child’s parents were notified and they first took him to the Velestino Health Center and then to the Volos Hospital. The doctors gave him an antiofic serum and the little girl remained in his Pediatric clinic “Achillopouliou” for monitoring.
At first, the little girl was transferred to the Velestino Health Center and from there to the Volos Hospitalwhere the doctors gave her an antiofic serum and then was treated at the Pediatric clinic.
However, the child, as reported by ERT, he had an allergic reaction to the antiofic serum and for this reason he was transferred to the Larissa hospital. There she was given a second dose of antiofic to which she again experienced an allergic reaction and it was deemed necessary to transfer her to the ICU.
